Whoever invented the word “laughter,” they had this in mind…

I would highly recommend bookmarking this post for all those times you feel sad/depressed. This is guaranteed to cheer you up!

A Bundle of Laughs

without comments

In the process of re-organizing some of my old files, I stumbled across a few old gems. Watch below for some laughs. By the way, I saved the best for last.

Paul decided to show off his version of CNN

Lorraine and Miriam couldn’t figure out who saw the license plate first.

Tiffany and I managed to get Aaron a little…stuck.

(Note: I uploaded these videos to Google Video instead of YouTube because YouTube doesn’t have the option of making videos only privately available and I wasn’t willing to make these publicly available. Just in case.)

There Is Still Hope

with one comment

I spend a couple of hours every day poring through news and tech headlines. Among all the cynicism surrounding politics and the election, it’s the small things that always seem to really capture my attention.

This little piece – out of nowhere and connected to no modern issue – made me feel good. Read it. You might just enjoy it.

Holy Crap

Federer just lost. To Djokovic.

I’m not entirely sure as to whether I should be delighted that Federer lost or disgusted that Djokovic won. I just hope that Tsonga beats Djokovic in the Final.

We shall see…

Oddities

without comments

I know I’ve been away from the blog for quite a bit. With a combination of being busy and enjoying my free times without any stress, the blog had to take a little bit of a backseat. I think I’ll go back to being a little more regular from now on, but who knows?

Anyway, today I have something slightly different. After a couple of months, I finally got around to uploading the pics off my phone. There are quite a few interesting ones that I felt were worth a post and a mention. Enjoy…

263 Washington, DC Bookstore: Saw this sign in a bookstore while in DC last December. I thought it was mildly amusing.
264 White House: Visited the White House with the rest of the Governors. It was really cool being there, but it was sort of underwhelming at the same time. Regardless, the jokes about the snipers hiding on the roof made the visit worthwhile.
266 Airplane: I always knew planes were big. But looking at one like that just puts things in a whole new perspective.
269 California and California in California: Came upon this intersection in our Rose Parade escapades. Of course, we HAD to stop and take a picture.
270  Strange Parking Methods: Paul was apparently unaware of, and fascinated by, parking in the middle of the street (courtesy City of Newport Beach).
272 Comeback Squid: A TV shot paused at just the right moment. Oh, the wonders of DVR! (In case it wasn’t painfully obvious, Comeback Squid is a play on Comeback Kid.)

273

The Princeton Review: Apparently, the Princeton Review has guides to everything college-related. Including Gay and Lesbian Life. Chapter 8: “Queering the Campus.”
